A Salem Family Business Exporting Coco Peat to the World
Vimsen Exim grew out of a family agri-trading business in Salem, Tamil Nadu, that has bought, graded and moved coconut and arecanut across the state since the 1990s. Today, that same know-how sources and exports coco peat and coir pith for growers and importers worldwide.
What we do
Vimsen Exim sources coir pith from a network of five production units across Tamil Nadu's coir belt, holds every unit to the same washing, drying, testing and compression standard, and exports the finished blocks and briquettes in full containers from Chennai and Tuticorin.
Because we know each unit, its raw material and its process, we can match the right material to each buyer's specification — and answer questions about the exact batch in your container.
