Three generations in coconut trade. Now manufacturing for the world.
Vimsen Exim manufactures Low EC and High EC coco peat across a network of 5+ partner manufacturing units in Tamil Nadu, built on a family trading background that goes back to the 1990s.
Where we come from
Vimsen traces back to a family trading business started in the 1990s, dealing in coconut and arecanut across Tamil Nadu. That trade — buying, grading and moving agricultural produce at scale — is the foundation Vimsen Exim is built on.
Three generations later, that same background in agricultural trade has grown into large-scale agriculture and manufacturing. Vimsen Exim is the export arm of that growth: we manufacture coco peat and coir pith for international horticulture and hydroponics buyers.
How we manufacture
We manufacture across a network of 5+ partner manufacturing units in Tamil Nadu — each one signed to our quality process and tested to the same EC, pH, moisture and sand standards, so a container from Vimsen Exim reads the same regardless of which unit it came from.
What that looks like in practice
5+ manufacturing units
A network of partner manufacturing units across Tamil Nadu, each held to the same washing, drying and compression standards.
Tested at every stage
EC, pH, moisture and sand are checked after washing, after drying and before pressing — not just on the finished block.
